God Is Listening!

 

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

—Jeremiah 33:3

Have you ever tried to talk with someone who doesn’t answer you? What’s that you say? Your husband, or wife, or teens do that to you all the time?

Okay. But I’m talking about a time when you were in danger or needed help right away. Did the person hearing your cry for help ignore you?

You see, God is not like that. He is always listening for our voices. He wants to be attentive to our prayers—our cries for help.

Notice what the Prophet Jeremiah says in Jeremiah 33:2-3:

This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

We should take great comfort from knowing God is always listening for the sound of our voices.
